- @Cro_Pittt anything above 5% is good enough for me. But then again I am still a noob, relatively speaking.
- @Cro_Pittt For a long time I was 10% or higher. Last 2 seasons I've been 9% but that is because I've been more aggressive.
@apostolateofDOOM That's wrong, 110% is the possibility of buggy patches made by Respawn 😛.
@hayhor Considering i'm slightly above 6% i think that 10% is pretty good for normal players lol. Do you know what's the % for major streamers? i'm curious.

I love talking about this because it gives me a chance to have people realize that strong SBMM makes statistics pointless.
I have hit Masters every season since the rank was introduced. Despite this, the bulk of my games are pubs, where SBMM exclusively pits me against the top 1%. The same people that I can’t seem to beat to break into Pred are the same people who comprise my pub lobbies.
My win % is 1.4
That is significantly lower than almost all of my friends who are gold-level players. It’s infuriating because I’m not a bad player; in fact, consistently getting Masters suggests I’m in the top 10% of players. SBMM should never be aggressive enough that someone in the top 10% loses more than someone in the bottom 40%. It just feels slightly unethical. - @Cro_Pittt I dont know what the top streamers win rate is. Rogues must be pretty high. At times he seems to win every other game in top level ranked. Then you have someone like Shiv who hot drops pubs over and over and over. Or he solos to Masters by hot dropping.
So much of winning is dependent on playstyle. If you push everything that moves your win rate will be lower because you will lose some pushes and others you will get 3rd partied. It is only a matter of time before you die. It helps me that I have a friend I play with 90% of the time and we are generally on the same page. We take fights that make sense to take and rotate out when we know we should. - @Cro_Pittt As a casual player I don't go play pubs for the win, I go for the kills xD
- @Cro_Pittt Depends if you Solo-queue/your playstyle/your skill. Some people play it slower, so they have more chances of winning while some don't care about wins cuz they play very aggressive.
Shiv plays it aggressive and Solo-queue but still manages to win a lot because of his skill.
My win rate is always around 5%, I usually don't focus on wins and play Solo-queue. - DarthValtrex5 years agoHero (Retired)
@Cro_Pittt 5% would be about average, anything above that is above average.
There are 20 squads on drop, if all things are equal that gives you about a 5% chance at winning a match. If you get beat that average than you're performing better than most.
I would imagine the actual average win rate is slightly below 5% probably closer 4% because you have some players who have win rates above 5%. So even if you're at 5% win rate, you're probably doing better than most.
If you play with a pre-made your win rate should be way above average. You can loot faster, work together and so on. - @Cro_Pittt A good winrate would be 5% but honestly no one really cares how much you win but how good you are at gunfights.
