Whats the point of new legends???

So here it is….

another season, another new legend and YET again the pro’s are moaning about and guess what respawn/EA will listen to them and NERF, NERF, NERF.

I’m sick of it…

alter has not broken the meta. Simple. The pro’s/streamers moaning and getting everything NERFD HAS!!

so i ask what is the point of creating new legends? To then just nerf them so the games “fair” for Pro’s/Streamers.

But you allow pro’s to have aimbot and three stack against bronze players?

seriously?

i’ll use the NFL as most who read this would be American. The worst team gets the first pick of draft picks. In fairness.

so where is Apex’s fairness???

you moan when a lesser players gets that win or kill. Stop being selfish and think how that person feels, winning…

and i’m pretty sure the devs didn't want spoilt, indulged, self-conceited persons dominating there game but here we are.

News for you! Lifes not fair….

You listen to them more than the actual player base. Who are your main consumers, which allow your ridiculous prices of “SKINS” not even games.

just my humble opinion.

  • @eltorro7 Most pros have more time in the game than a lot of players. Their input from a competitive stance is very valuable as this is their job. They have a lot of knowledge in the game. While us regular players may have a hard time understanding it, it took me some time myself to accept it. I like you also thought the pros had a little to much influence with changes.

Then I thought to myself. This is their job they are trained by coaches competing for millions at times. So they are going to voice their opinion when it comes to the integrity of their job and the even playing fields.

Kind of like working at Wal-Mart in the paint department for 10 years to have someone who has been painting for 6 months try to tell you whats best. (My thoughts on it after sitting back and looking and thinking about things)

Your post is right on point and I agree with what you say here.

This however had me on the floor laughing. "Kind of like working at Wal-Mart in the paint department for 10 years to have someone who has been painting for 6 months try to tell you what's best. (My thoughts on it after sitting back and looking and thinking about things)"

Just because one works in the paint department does not make one a painter. I have had people that I have asked advice from in their section of a department store advise me on products by reading the back of the product to me, they had no clue what they were advising on and I can read the product descriptions myself.

Unfortunately not all pro players and pro streamers have the games best intentions at heart. There are some that advocate for self preservation. They have too much to lose if the game doesn't always swing in their favor.

However, there are many pros that advocate for a fair gaming experience for everyone and generally care about the overall health of the game.

Is there not the possibility that they launched the legend in an "extra" state with the plan of a future nerf? As they have done with most new legends and most new weapons? As a way of enticing people to try something new? From which it is easier for them to make money? So the nerf was really always baked into the equation whether pros and streamers whine or not? Just a theory.
