- @HappyHourSumwur Don't pick it up, I mostly play Octane, I had one kid rage at me why did I choose him, because that's his main and he has 5K damage with him and bla bla bla, then when we got in to a fight he ran away, I downed 2, third knocked me, then he just typed into the chat "good job Octane" while he was sitting the other side of the map.
If you are curious my other teammate was busy pinging attachments and ammo while I was in the fight.
Sadly in this game, the amount of braindead is a higher level then most games, this is one of the reasons I take really long breaks form the game, I'm def not playing till season 13 - HappyHourSumwur4 years agoSeasoned Ace@Renegade_Prime86. Yeah, taking a break from Apex can be really good for your mental health, TBH. Part of what makes it so frustrating is that when it is good, it is incredible but it can be bad for so many reasons, especially if you don't have streamer level skills.

One of the reasons why I want solos added. Toxic teammates are zero fun. But not fill really isn't fair so you gotta suck up and deal with it.

I’ve reached diamond already this split and currently battlepass 105. Once I finished the event tracker, I’ll have a 1-2 week break until the next thematic event on the 19th. I usually take apex breaks now unlike before. Makes the game fresh and less frustrating.
Please, this game isn’t good enough to think it’s about the people playing it. Respawn could have done a lot to improve the public way this game is more than a year ago
- reconzero4 years agoSeasoned Ace@HappyHourSumwur For the record, I would have done exactly what you did. But...
It's possible that this kid just had a run of matches where inexperienced teammates did foolish and risky things that got them downed needlessly and often, and this guy was just tired of getting killed trying to help them in match after match. It's just a theory, but it certainly has happened to me in that same way. The difference being that if I feel the need to announce I'm not reviving anyone, then I put the controller down and go to bed instead of actually going into a match and announcing I'm not reviving anyone. I dont know but I stopped getting those acidic poops in my pubs groups nowdays, it might have something to do with what matchmaking segment youre in atm. There was plenty of them before though :P
But I remember well the times of getting properly roasted by a guy with 0 kills 10 damage and 5sec survival time before he was decked and going all out in voice chat about how bad the survivers was. This have cleared these days, seems my segment learned to shut up if they unhappy about smthn and just play the game understanding * happens, its a part of the game. In general I see a willingness to go all out trying to save the team, ressing and in general trying to play together these days so I'm quite happy to be honest. Still I see when my daughter play its not as good, I asked her to switch off voice chat and report anyone who hurt her in text chat, this works really well to be honest.
