- @AllSquadsOn1Spot I don't think they can ban smurfs just because it's a new account doing well... That would be kind of ridiculous. What if someone played on a different system such as PS4 and then got an Xbox? They would have to create a new account and they would destroy the people they're up against.
Similar to my return to PC. My PC stats were garbage back on release day so I stayed on PS4. I recently returned to PC and I'm dropping people all over the server.
Everyone is ready for bans to happen and I just don't understand it. If someone is using legitimate cheats (hacks) to ruin the game for others then banning is good for the community. But banning people who are just playing the game legitimately is bad for business. If enough people get banned queue times increase and the higher the queue times the more likely impatient players will leave to play a different game. Banning people for no real reason will kill the game. Take a look at Fallout 76. Small player base and even those that do play have caught bans. It's widely known as a flop and a game where its player base is consistently beaten down with bans.
Respawn and Apex are heading down a similar path. Oke but let's be real tho, Fallout 76's spectacular failure was not the direct result of people receiving banns.
The game was god awful, often literally unplayable from the bugs, the massive embarrassment from the supposed "canvas" duffle bags and nuka dark rum bottles further drove it into the ground.
The issue of players sneaking into the developers debug room, stealing the best items, and duplicating those and the very very poor handling of this affair was only one of many footnotes in that disaster of a game lmao.
The video's about F76 are pretty hilarious 🙂
I don't think I ever laughed harder than when I saw Internet Historian's video

@GCC_LeoThere is a difference between smurfing accounts to get around SBMM and having two separate accounts for different platforms.
Fairly confident they can look at the Xbox and see that one xbox has 10+ accounts all with similar Stats. Another way that's easy to tell, lots of players are creating pre-made squads and abusing the queue timer to get into lower skill lobbies. Basically they have one smurf account, they start the queue timer then invite their predator buddies. I just ran across a squad doing that, 1 was a smurf account the other team mates had 7,000 kill trackers/badges. They are even doing it in ranked, I have not had a single ranked match yet that did not have Diamond and Predator dive trails coming out of the drop ship. When I end up getting killed by them I watch for a minute.. They have a Platinum buddy who got them into the platinum lobby. Yes they are predator, it shows the Predator icon for their RP totals..
It's really pathetic because it makes it impossible to find an area that's competitive.. But hey games are always full of morons who like it easy and like to ruin it for everyone else. It's really no different then running cheats so you can just walk around and mow people down. 2 accs in diamond
Game in unplayble when you hit it
Im not talking about good aim, im talking about AIM LOCK hax that im 100% sure 2-3 games you got dude who bought acc to play with cheats on it
And when Respawn announce cybersport events its a * laugh to the face of community
I only think most of the smurf-accounts are new cheat-accounts.I just have the opinion that everyone get only one account (across all platforms for a game like apex). So if you get a ban you stay banned. You can create unlimeted accounts to avoid your last ban, even the hardware ones. So why the fk respawn don't implement a registration with personal identifaction to keep ppl away who are destroying the fun of others. The diamant level atm is just a joke - ok no problem - but also the unranked ones too? My fun with the competitive game is almost over. I changed after 16 years from cs to apex but now the same sht here with this useless bansystem.
I hope my english is not that bad to understand 😇
- @AllSquadsOn1Spot I agree. It’s not smurf accounts. Way to many low level 20 bomb accounts right now. I watch movement...if their movement is at the same skill level as their aim, smurf account. Most of the time their movement is okay but not even close in skill to a Predator, yet their aim is! I took a few week break. Came back and it’s impressive how many new accounts there are that move okay but aim like a God. Bans must be going out because they are rerolling like crazy.
- DarthValtrex6 years agoHero (Retired)@AllSquadsOn1Spot What ever is going on some of the smurf accounts are real problems. I saw a level 37 with 376 kills last night. I see multiple accounts like that every night.
Whether it’s cheating, smurfing or what... - @DarthValtrex Whether it’s cheating, smurfing...
It's both. The new game mode Gold Dues makes it very hard to tell if it's a smurf or cheater. Easy to hide a aim hack with one shot snipers all over the map. I had a player no scope me and my teamate inside of Gib's sheild. One shot kills to the head in two shots at close range, hip firing? Can a pro do this, yes, they also squat down right before the shot to improve the spread. This dude just runs into gibs circle and two shots us running and hip firing. I doubt he is that good...by the way he was level 20ish. Wall and aimhacks all over. Not as blatant as they were in the beginning when they stuck like glue to their target 100% of the fight. Now they snap last second and stick just until you have fired. See it «every» friggin match.
I’m sure most people are clean, but games get dominated by cheaters. Yeah, some are probably pros, this post is not about them

@DavidW74Hip fire with the Kraber is something I don’t get. I’ve tried it, it’s inaccurate and hard to be consistent with. I’d estimate less than .5% of the player population can do it.
the best I’ve done with the hip fire is one knock. But I was instantly melted by their buddy as I was reloading the kraber.
