I can not sat and when you get into a match and randoms avoid any fighting and hide for rp I really think this needs to be a reporting option

It is not going to happen. The mere fact of the game allowing a solo drop is indicative of that. Reporting ratting is a waste of everyone's time as it is not against the rules, and does not qualify within the game as sobotage.Clearly how a player chooses to play the game is up to them.Conversely should "incapable hot droppers" be a reportable offence and penalised?Having played 1,000's of games, should the players with TTV or YT in their name, all looking for content above all else, also be reported and penalised as sabotage because of their agenda? Because imperialhal they are not and willing to take unnecessary risks for their content boost that usually fail they are, losing me hard won points along the way.Edit: The only way around this, if you are frustrated with this type of play, is to find some like minded friends and play togeather as a team. Problem solved.

Reporting people for not dropping in the jm's dumpster fire drop zone? For abandoning a doomed bug hunt? For not picking up the right weapons? For not playing meta legends? Where does this all end?

To make things short, players can play however they want. Ratting is not considered as illegal as well as hot dropping but I don’t want to play with people like that hence I’m always in a premade squad and never play this game soloQ.This is a problem in any team-based game. You can’t control the randoms. Only way to somehow control that is to have a pre-made squad with people with the same playstyle as you.

My friend and I just finished a very long run of BR ratting. Why? Because the prize tracker says we need to finish top 10 eight times. Also if we survive to top 5 we get rewarded with extra XP. It was Gen. Patton who once said, "No (b-word) ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making some other poor dumb (b-word) die for his country.". Surviving is the key role in any battle, the longer you survive the better odds are you will win.Now of course, if we were playing in Control or Arenas, that would be a different story.Censor filters the b-word meaning idiot, fool, or illegitimate child.

@hayhor Placement vs unlimited kills. Placement could be "cheesed" easily. High kills can not. It's that simple.

Another thing thing to consider is why certain sports have "man of the match". Sure, the other team won, with like 3 kills, but man of the match showed the most raw skill with 20 and just messed up somewhere and died. Best player was still him, with or without the win. And it's not even an opinion, just truth.

I'm pretty sure there adding a titanfall esc gamemode like the dm with no titans maybe hopefully they are probing for interest in titanfall 3 but it will be fun no matter what it might even have wallrunnin

@Unitee01 In other sports typically man of the match is on the winning team. No one will remember who took second at the recent world cup. I'm quite sure mbappe would trade all his goals for the win.

@Unitee01 I couldn't care less about being the "mvp" of the game if it meant I lost the game lol. In ranked only winning matters.

If we want to argue this point around what other games do, I could bring up COD and R6S, which highlight the final kill instead of the top performer.

If your ranked team mate runs away from your POI off drop and hides instead of helping your team fight, you can report them for sabotage. My buddy and I do, in ranked. It doesn't happen very often. If this happens a lot to you, consider whether you might possibly be making poor choices of which fights to take, which your randoms are smart enough to avoid.

Don't worry about them climbing too far where they don't belong. Just imagine how long it would take to climb through plat or diamond earning 45 or fewer RP per third place placement.

Blame the game not the player.
it’s funny how there’s like this ethic in games, rather than looking at what the rules are. If you want a game that encourages fighting, then, sorry, don’t only give 12 players out of 60 positive points, snd mot to mention 30 out of 60 the most severe penalties.
The scoring system is what makes the players play the way they do. You have to be a straight dunce to charge into the fray in this ranked system.
This, by the way, is why I haven’t bothered with ranked. I, too, want to have fun fighting. I don’t hot drop, no, but I don’t want to hide anymore until final 4 with my team mates already dead.
Don’t expect Respawn to change, though. They seem very stubborn despite declines in game popularity.
