Solos - In addition to the many other reasons posted against it, solo will affect the whole game, because it needs specific adjustments, different than those for team mode, and most probably a new map. This translates to way more issues, increasing development time and significantly slowing updates.
Duos - This kind of happens already, due to respawn timeouts and quitters. But I'm curious how a match with 3-4 teams of high level, preformed duos and 16-20 teams of low/mid level randoms trios would turn up.
Quads - would hardly be different than trios, unless some new class of legends appear.
Thing is, if other game modes, maps or ranked matchmaking will be added to the game, the playerbase will be split, which means we might end up waiting a lot more to find a match. Considering this, it's much better to prioritize fixes and content that enhances the current experience, like new legends, new loot, new skins, map extensions.

What specific adjustements? and why a new map?
all other BR use the same map and adjustement if you talk about heroes please explain why it needs it? like why a hero is ok as he is now in trio but won't be in solo? each hero have good and bad point to play in solo, and if 2 or even 4 heroes are not used what's the big deal?

The map of Apex has concentrated areas of loot and is much smaller than the maps of other BR games, with less buildings and higher elevation difference, while the movement is much faster. The fights will probably involve 5-10 players often, favoring legends like Gibraltar and Caustic in close combat, because of their fortified perk and high damage abilities.
Some areas of the map are only accessible to Pathfinder, it can get there with any decent mid/long range weapon (not to mention Kraber ) and score many kills before they are even noticed. Lifeline will be the perfect candidate for sniper training, especially when she's calling a package, followed by Caustic and Gibraltar with their bullet magnet hitboxes. There's no point in choosing Lifeline, Bangalore, Octane, Mirage, Bloodhound, not even the void jumping small boxed Wraith. Caustic choice will be a gamble because, if most of the room chooses the same, his abilities become useless and any unreachable, high ground sniper Pathfinder will most probably be the death of him. Same story with Gibraltar and solo mode will probably become a Pathfinder deathmatch.
Limiting the choice of legends will end up with players that main the forbidden ones complaining. Then there will be more whining about kill stealing, as many skilled warriors will get one shotted while healing or looting after defeating dozens of enemies.
