Thordan Smash said it might be a titan fall themed map with wall running or we are probably going to get a update to broken moon similar to the season 9 update to Olympus or the season 13 update to storm point. Next season is a massive weather event possibly a monsoon that’s going to hit storm point and lightning rod is a wattson TT and a new POI called amped station which could be a Rampart TT
- @4847606 Well that would be S18–
I’m referring to the pattern of adding an entirely new map to the game. The titanfall stuff was leaked as a potential new game mode, not a new BR map. And again, the weather event is just a map update that’s teased, not a new map.
The lack of leaks makes me think they actually might not be adding a new map at all this year. - @Axs5626Sxa5001 I was wondering the same. I'm really hoping for a smaller map this time. The last two have been bigger than worlds edge and play terribly for normal non algs play.
I am highly concerned about the leaks SP is getting modified as that will mean it is in the rotation for the entire season next season. Season 19 is probably going to be a broken moon change unfortunately. I think a new map might be season 20 or later

@hayhorWith the skybox teaser added to SP, I think that map is going to be getting a big overhaul. I'm hoping that the storm will wipe out some low lying POI's (e.g.-Fish Farms) to reduce the size of the map and that they fill in some of the larger areas with new or expanded POI's. With Evac Towers it does play smaller but you still have more games on that map seeing nobody for a round or more than on any other map.
- @HappyHourSumwur Whats funny is the map doesn't really work well for the pro level. Teams that have drop spots north, which has height advantage win at a much higher rate than south teams.
I found something about the new map. We are getting a system rework (sucks for me though I play on a Xbox one s) for this year.
- HappyHourSumwur2 years agoSeasoned Ace@hayhor I can see that. Positioning is more important at that level.
