@l_mRGogo There are pros and con’s to every MM. I want Respawn to try a totally random MM in pubs where stats doesn’t matter at all. I don’t care since 95% of the time I play with friends. A downside to this is that a 3 stacking pred team can just stomp the whole lobby where the current SBMM would put them in higher tier lobbies (most of the time). For me, there shouldn’t be any basis for matchmaking in pubs. That’s why you have rank if you want that.
Respawn devs have been consistent that the #1 priority of matchmaking is queue times and filling out the lobby. They didn’t say that out loud but their excuse of not making other modes or bringing back LTMs was always about the queue times. This might be one of many reasons why below average players are put into sweaty lobbies.
They’ll never add TDM unless they remove arenas because it will lengthen queue times. Arenas is flawed and straight out not fun for me and for many. That mode is doodoo. Haven’t touched it for 2 seasons.
