Why apex is not fun right now. (in my humble option)

@raphi0099 I agree with some and disagree with some. I agree the lack of drastic meta shifts can hurt the game for some. But for people like me, I prefer a balanced game. For a long time apex has done this well. Right now tho I'd say guns are as unbalanced as they can be. If you don't run a Havoc you aren't really trying.

Speaking of legend meta, in regular gameplay, not algs or pred level, most legends are usable, assuming the user's skill level is high enough. As an Algs viewer tho, I'm tired of the bang blood cat meta we've been watching for close to a year. The changes to these characters are too slow. And I do not even believe the update today will remove bang from meta.

All this being said, my play time on Apex has gone way down. My reasons are this though-
MM is poor. I want tighter MM. I will gladly wait a couple minutes for a match to get teammates and enemies of my level.
The maps I like seem to rarely be in rotation. This is both for BR and MT. For me half the maps are poor.
Other users ruin the game. All the hot dropping has gotten old.

I think I didn't quite clearly write my post. I also love to see game to be balanced. But I think balancing need to be done with some buffs. Currently havoc is very strong and needs to be nerfed. But at the same time there is no gun cames close to havoc. They need to buff some other guns. Devs are scared of buffing because they might create too op gun / legends. Meta shift and creating op and balancing it is healthy for the game. I also do agree lgend meta right now is very balanced for regular gameplay. But I'm tired of seeing this same legends in my ranked. I want to see some legend meta shift in high level game play. I have mixed option on last one, tighter MM in pubs is just going to be pred lobby for some people. I do agree ranked MM have some works to do.

  Well, Mixtape keeps getting degraded in fun. First auto shield-regen gone, then shorter Control matches, then they add kraber to Gun Run, and now abysmal short TDM games. 🤡 Oh, and the extremely boring... what's it called? The one where you have to hold zones, they added to take more time away from Control and TDM.
  Then we have the BR problem: Hot-dropping, 5 squads left Round 2. Then they add assisted jumping in ALGS, the one mode where they actually spread out on the jump! Apparently no one at Respawn has never played Trios, which should be the first mode to get assisted jumping, as +70% of the playerbase doesn't understand how it works.
  I guess we got quads today? Sounds fun, now we can have 2 squads left round 2 instead. 🤡

    Yeah, lockdown sucks. But tbh if hate Hot-dropping and more competitive experience, you can play ranked.
