Why are my Apex Legends lobbies so good?

@aqibkaved93They say that a lot of pred players from COD moved over to Apex when they weren't happy  with COD over the past year.And in truth they probably replaced a lot of the casual Apex players who too may struggle to get kills & just got fed up of being squashed against these pred teams & just ended up quitting the game (I know a fair few ex players).And yes there are lots of really good Apex players out there but there is also plenty of cheating going on as well that frankly games like Apex,Fortnite, COD etc seem to do very little about.I still get regular occurrences of players who use wall hacks & clear aimbot cheats but trying to report them is near on useless in any of these games.

What certainly doesn't help in the game are pretty common situations when you can land in a hotspot with your teammates struggle to find the 2 worst weapons between you ie P2020,Mozambique & if you end up in a shoot out with either weapon you usually find that the enemies are already equipped with a Purple/Gold shield & a L-Star to laser you out of your paltry white shield.But in all seriousness wouldn't the game be fairer if no player could pick up purple,gold shields at the start of each game..Loot & weapon layout in this game (across any of the maps) is just as bad as the matchmaking itself.

Considering Respawn still can't even solve one of the more simple problems in match-fill (2 in 6 games I'm a player short in trios) so the chances of them fixing matchmaking is pretty much slim to none.

@Redmattgame I honestly really struggle with this too.  I have played probably close to 12,000 games but my stats are pretty trash even for that playtime.  I genuinely feel like, more often than not, most lobbies are above my paygrade which keeps my stats trash as I seem to go down *very* quickly when engaged in a fight.  I find it hard to do significant damage at medium range.  Sometimes I get it right but more often or not I clip them a couple of times, they turn and instantly down me.  It's really really frustrating.  I mean should I not be against players with the same sort of issues/level?  It could be they were just having a good game, that happens to me too where I'll get a good total of kills and it feels like I can't miss but that's rare.  

The balancing between players does definitely feel unbalanced the majority of the time.  I have no idea what heuristic they use to lump you in with other players but it feels like it's not working.  It could be the large number of games I have played factors into this and is working against me.  It's probably pretty hush hush how they do this and I imagine they tinker with it all the time.

@aqibkaved93  i dunno i win or place top 3 usually in PUBS but in ranked in crappy SILVER im getting rocked.. i just assume its try hards using something malicious.. even in PUBS i get dropped every few games into pred master lobbies and i do descent.. but ranked right now is broken imo. i got a feeling or hoping a large ban wave is about to come out... this cheating crap has been going on for months.

Uhm I have to take this back. Nope this is absolutely false. A friend of a friend with 2.95 KDR joined us and the lobbies were in a whole new level. LMAO!
