Why do i die 2 sec later after cover or dodging?

@Mary-Reilly-FilmServer issues. It happens in multiplayer games. But 2 sec seems too much.

Just for people to know truth:

Sometimes when the delay is only 0.5ms i kill player even the best apex legends players with 20k kill easily those player r nothing

@Mary-Reilly-Film  That's because that's exactly what's happening lol, they are essentially shooting at an older frame, it's the same reason you get shot through closed doors or when lifting a knockdown shield just before a shot hits you.

Annoying stuff but with limitations of internet infrastructure we're basically stuck with it.

But for some player have it easier the delay for them is less so they get high kills and more damage

U can see some youtubers with 5k damage in match they get sufficient time and their older images r less delayed

2s is a verry long time when connection times are often discussed in ms.

@Mary-Reilly-FilmWell, the quality of your internet does matter but saying 'people get 5k dmg cuz they have a better internet' is just ridiculous. I play on Singapore servers with 85-90 ms ping. I have around 11k games and when I die I admit that I made a mistake or my skill isn't that great, not 'The opponent has a better internet'. Wait, that rhymes xD

DreamStare07: I still say they do have better internet. Higher ping mean u r harder to hit but cant do much damage while lower ping u r easier to hit but u do so much more damage to enimies

A higher ping doesn't mean you are harder to hit because the server doesn't know you are already in that location and think you are still in location X
That could be the reason you die while you are in cover, because the server hasn't received this update yet, but 2 seconds in a long time to be in cover and still dying, that doesn't sound like 85 - 100 ping
