At least 90% of it has to do with the matchmaking ... if you really would get teamed up with similar skilled players they are more likely to stay.
Yea i know the Queuetimes ... but if the queue times would be longer due to a more precise matchmaking , ppl would also stay in the game bcs it wouldnt take some seconds to get a fresh match but rather minutes
I can relate to everyone leaving when they get paired up with players way below their stats, most of the time those players underestimate the situation they are in.
My account has a very high killcount, so its more than unlikely that it will be a walk in the park, when i then get teammates that arent aware on how to use their ultimate, when to attack and (even more important) when to retreat i just quit, its not even worth to respawn them, since literally the same would happen after the respawn ...
It makes no sense to match players with the "touch grass" playstyle in a team with tryhards or any other seasoned player, they simply play a different game.
We had a lot of discussion about this on here over the years ... was better pre Season 7, back then ppl wouldnt just leave , MM felt way more balanced.
