You guys do know you can respawn right? And devs why do you not punish people for leaving a bunch of games? And why is there no solo mode for people who don't want to deal with terrible teammates? Lots of questions and I never get any answers...

There's all kinds of reasons people leave, and it's typically not the ones people mentioned in this thread. Most of what people have said here are exceptions to the rule.The vast majority of the time that people have quit from my games is because they tried to 1v3 the enemy team and failed horribly, then get mad at the team because we didn't read his mind and preemptively soar over and carry him to victory. The kiddies watch too many streams and think they're godlike, only to have reality crash down on them.No, peoples' PCs aren't coincidentally crashing the instant they get downed by an enemy. This is not an excuse. If the game crashes on you that often, don't play. You're only wasting your time and the community's.Another reason is simply stat-padding. They want to be that guy that has 10k kills on their banner so that they can pretend that they get a ton of kills, even though 9.5k of them were against guys that didn't have guns or armor yet. Why wait for a revive when you can get more meaningless kills by immediately quitting and dying in the same spot for the 10th time in a row? This is most obvious when teammates drop solo towards skull town without saying a word, die within 30 seconds and instantly quit. It's not about winning or doing well, it's about racking up fake merit for self-validation."It's obvious my teammates suck." No, you ran after three guys with only a pistol and your teammates didn't even have weapons yet. I can't count how many times a teammate goes down in a fight, then me and the other teammate manage to wipe the squad, but our teammate has already quit even though we're literally holding the guy's banner.The gaming community in 2019 is shaping up to more pathetic than ever, with a surplus of entitled people who can barely pick their own noses, let alone play a game competently. I'm enjoying Apex, but I'm probably going to uninstall until they add solos or duos + proper matchmaking. This isn't meant to be some grand announcement or a spectacle, but people need to show that they're not going to invest time in the game until either the community or Respawn make a change. We know the community will only get worse, so here's looking at you Respawn.

You also have the ability to quit, it takes 10 - 20 seconds to find another another match, why punish yourself for 15-20 mins when you know your chances of winning are slim to nil?

It has been answered before. No one leaves winning games, people usually leave if they get gunned down in the first couple of minutes of the game where it is fairly clear if the team is bad or not.No reason to punish people who have no interest in staying in a bad group.

Because if you don't want to play with bad teammates or play together, then you shouldn't play this game. They don't want to add solo's period. There are other games for people who want to play solo.
Most people also just crash. I've had trouble with crashing since the game launch and still no fix, no error message, no nothing.

Why wait for a revive? No consequences to leaving. And I can join a new game and be spawned in under 60 seconds. So why wait all the time it will take just to Respawn with nothing when you can drop in a new game on the same footing as every other squad in less than a minute or so.

i only leave if them others fleeing when i get downed and they doesn´t seem to turn back.
or
if they jumps over my box without picking me up,
to loot around as a vacuum cleaner
the whole zone not giving a jack about enviroment.
didnt use to leave for it but lately they simply just
let you time out wasting my time. most common by duos.

In my case these are the main reasons...
I cant find a weapon, I die and my team mates arent even close.
Both of the team are downed, and the thirds one is still looking for a weapon or looting.
I get gang downed and finished and my team is almost next to me.
After a terrible drop from one of my mates and get killed immediately.
I get downed, my team wins, and they start looting instead of reviving.
I never leave a game while in the legend selection room no matter who I get to play with.
I never leave a game while in the jump.
I have been left several times by others, even parties mostly because I guess somebody picks their favorite legend.
I am level 77 right now.

People left before Season 1because your kills still counted after you were eliminated...
Since S1 released, they changed it so you get EVERYTHING awarded upto that point, including time xp. Something that was only awarded if you won or were squad wiped. Expect people to leave more often since it makes no difference to the points you earn.

If your not level 100 then it benefits you to leave early. Get in another game and get xp right away. The quickest way to power level your character is leaving a game when your downed. You get into the next one faster and earn xp at a faster rate. Moral of the story: if your not level 100 never stick around and wait for your team. It’s only hurting your grind.

Much of the time it's game crashes, not people leaving on purpose.
