You are zooming out, the viewmodel should get smaller or stay the same, not get bigger.
There should not be downsides or tradeoffs to higher FOV, what is the point?
At higher fov it already becomes harder to fight long range.

@fartnitepalyerPhysics. It’s simulating real world wide angle lenses taking into account focal length. It pushes farther objects away and pulls nearer objects in, making the iron sights look bigger. You can test this out if you have a phone that has a wide angle lens camera.
If you’re gonna say that this isn’t real life and just a game but this decision was deliberately made by Respawn. Not sure how other FPS games handle the FOV changes.

Wait, why did you become so defensive? Did I offend you in anyway? LMAO. If you’ve been reading my posts here, you’ll see I rant a lot about this game and question every bad decision Respawn has made.
