Why does the developer hate duo mode?
once again they placed duo mode again just to make fun of us the whole community is requesting it permanently and they just put it in for a week

@3l_Sin_IgualThey don’t hate duos mode. They just want this to mainly be a 3 player team game. That is what makes apex unique. The unique modes and events are ways to get people excited about playing again, give variations in game play and unique experiences. But they are not meant to be main staples of the game. I love duos and solos just as much as you. But I still have fun in normal modes, especially with my friends and even with randoms.
It’s a ton of fun to get matched with a low skill player and just go on a rampage. They get a chance to have fun in a difficult game, get some kills, get some practice and really see the fun side of apex. My buddy and I did that a week ago. He had 2400 damage and 10+ kills, I had 7 kills 1400 damage and our random did 680 with 4 kills. To put that in perspective the randoms KD was .24 and his average damage was below 70.
The events are limited time only for different reasons, but one is to entice people to play right now. If they like duos and it's limited time they’ll think hey I don’t want to miss this and hop on. If it’s not limited time it might get put on the back burner.
The trio mode is not competitive if you do not have a person of your level or your same language or age make the game something unpleasant they are ignoring that kills the community people come to compete and have fun
