Why doesnt Ash's tactical snare herself?

I've noticed some Ash players throw their snare on themselves mid fight or to stop a push. Why doesn't this affect her? Other legends like Fuse damage themselves if they try this.

@hayhor Yeah, not gonna lie, kinda does. But I guess it would open the door to many complaints too.

    it's smart tether, I'm ok it doesn't snare herself, so it can be use like wraith tactical to escape.
