Why Duo
Why are you keeping the Duo Queue in Ranked?
- Account Boosting
- Carrying
- Complicated matchmaking
- Excessive burden on solo players
- Unranked Duo mode becoming a dead queue
I believe removing it would solve all of these issues .
It appears there are plans to tighten rank gap limits for parties and test a solo-only restriction for Diamond rank and above; however, these measures will ultimately be rendered ineffective. They will merely result in the spread of sub accounts.
Finding an excuse to use a smurf account is a piece of cake. Just say I do not use sub accounts to stay down in low ranks. 'I switched to controller/MnK,' or 'It’s my solo account'—the players on the receiving end of this ruined matchmaking couldn't care less about those reasons.
Minor tweaks are ineffective; the complete removal of the Duo Queue is required.
If you truly pride yourselves on being professionals, you must never compromise on the results.
"Professionals" are defined by those who demonstrate their competence through actual results—not performers who staged a failure to elicit sympathy.
