@TheApexLegendNubYou've obviously given it a lot of thought. Your last point is my biggest gripe with Apex. The SBMM makes it so difficult for casual solo queue players to have fun.

Not an unpopular opinion at all. There are too many (dumb) legends and weapons. I would love if Valk and every legend that came after her didn't exist. Haven't unlocked them either. Well, unlocked Valk, but would like to delete her again. She is literally the legend where they went too far. And to make it worse x10, they added Seer after... which was the first time I just sat out for an entire season.
Anyway, the problems are just pilling up now. Valk, Seer, dilluted loot pool, hot-dropping, sbmm, faster ring closing timers, and whatever. No, it isn't the same game anymore, it's hardly even Apex Legends at all any longer.
Talked to my friend the other day, she still plays Apex, and her main gripe was sbmm. I said Fragment/Hot-drop mode was worse, because hot-dropping makes me not play the game, and when I don't play at all sbmm isn't an issue any longer.
