Apex is a fun game, don't get me wrong, but the matchmaking is terrible. Like god awful! Its supposedly "skillbased", but its not. I'm a level 60 something, and i'm put against level 500, 20k+ kills, 5k wins players. Does this sound fair? No it doesn't. And with the new addition of the solo matchmaking, every game i play even though i put the solo mm off, its still puts me in solo and everybody else is on squads! Its bs! And since when do the guns do no damage? When i started playing back in season 4 or 5 i cant remember, the game was good. It was so much fun and enjoyable to play, and now its just *. EA just fix the game! And for some reason the intro sound every season since 7 is just obnoxiously loud! Thank you for caring about my rant.

Sbmm shouldn't be removed. It should just be better fine tuned.Happy to fighter tougher enemies if I've got teammates who can hold their own too.As it stands though the common occurrence is one we all know and loathe, tough enemies and teammates who barely know which end their weapons fire from lol. XDDon't get angry with your teammates though guys, blame the system not the player.

I've even squad wipe pre-mades of master/preds. if I an do it, so can you. Either way, you likely have a teammate who's at least decent at the game. If my teammates use their mics and tell me they are a noob I'll avoid conflict and just ask them to stick near me. I can typically carry them through a fight so long as they are in the fights with me drawing some focus off of me.

@whosewilliam I think you might be right and I think something is wrong with SBMM. I don't know if they were toying with it or what, but I have been getting exceptionally bad teammates with exceptionally good opponents. It's been fairly bad today. Teammates right now 137 and 120's, champion squad? all have 20 bombs and 4k badges.. I guarantee the first fight we get into if I go down my teammates will follow.

I agree. I can get 12 kills in one game then my next game i go against absolute pros but my teammates are really bad and it makes 0 sense.

@johnmiceter that’s the thing though, ranked has better “SBMM” since it’s actually based on your rank, and you won’t be put with pred unless they are still that same rank you are this season. It HEAVILY needs to be fixed in pubs. People play more sweaty in pubs than in ranked and that’s extremely sad. Pubs isn’t supposed to be super competitive and i’m not trying to sweat my *** off just to get a kill in pubs. It was really good back then, but these no life players be ruining the game for casual players. Like please just let the sweats play with sweats and casuals play with casuals. Apparently to this game if you win one game, you have the skill of a pred.

That’s funny. SBMM works perfectly for me. I can win my matches up until Masters then I hit a brick wall.

My pubs would make the majority of you uninstall Apex. I literally only play Masters/Preds and I simply can’t win consistently. Win percentage currently sitting at 1.4%.

Fun. Marxism is great.

I'm new.
Level 91 batlepass 93 started playing on switch handheld about 2 weeks ago.
My kills are about 1 a match. It was hard previously but I have gone from games with teammates with a few kills to squad members with 900000+ damage 283 kills etc.
Every game im dead within seconds, its become unplayable and no matter how much I practice I cannot beat these type of players on switch handheld!
2 weeks wasted, I carnt even stay alive long enough to get treasure chests!!!!!

Thats why they need to remove sbmm in pubs and only keep it in ranked.
Why not make it the first 60 queued up in pubs and put them in a match? That way, its just random luck, so some games you will get high level players and other times it will be easy.
Thats how General pubs should be I reckon and sbmm should stay in Ranked only.

@DarthValtrex nur weil du es kannst muss es nicht heißen das jeder so sein kann wie du. das Match making ist Broke und EA wird sich auch nie drum Kümmern.
1. Weil es denen egal ist sie sagte von Season 8 das es Änderungen geben wird, aber wir haben schon Season 12!! und es ist nicht passiert sie bringen jedes mal neue Patch Note's or Up-Date's raus und Interessieren sich ein Scheiß um die Community!!..
Ich kann die Anfänge die das game vorgschlagen z.B bekommen verstehen die keine Ahnung von dem game habe.. und dann von Schwitzern die LvL sagen wir mal 100 sind und eine 20-Bomb & $K patch haben das ist gegen denen unfair!! nja apex wird nicht mehr lange durch halten dann werden eh 15% von 90% Quitten gehen weil langsam macht es null spaß wenn man als anfänger nur Pred's, Master und Diamont spieler bekomm!!
