Why is arena so unrewarding for solos?
This is the most unrewarding game I have ever played. The more you try, the harder it gets. Why do solos fight with squads? Why does it get harder if you commit more time? You just lose game by gam...

I feel your pain. Arena's matchmaking is really not in a good place, ranked or non-ranked play. This also applies to the AP system as well in ranked.
I use arena's as a live type of firing range to warm up for Ranked BR. If you look and use it that way for the time being it is bearable.
I have heard that the Devs are looking into balancing the matchmaking and point system, however I do not know when and or how they are going to do that. Probably not in season 11 but maybe we will get lucky. wouldn't hold my breath on that though.

@Asmodeus566thanks man. i just lost 10 out of 10 in arenas with damage twice as high as my teammates 🙂 this is truly a piece of garbage 🙂
Like I said before, I agree and it needs to get fixed.
I had a 11 kill 3K+damage game and lost because my teammates amounted to a total of 3 kills and less than 1k damage between them. lost 30 something AP.
I can only carry so much, in fact i am tired of performing so well and losing RP because the other players might as well be shooting blanks.
@Revanchist_KR lol. How do you think I feel? I'm usually the guy with the least damage and kills. It doesn't feel great being on that end either.
been there done that and it does not feel good either.
Mowing down bots = win but also = no fun.
Getting slayed by preds in seconds also = no fun.
a good back and forth game with all players on both sides playing them game well = fun, whether I lose or win.
That matchmaking and AP system needs a re-work even if it "Is working as intended" as some people like to point out.
- @Asmodeus566 It is also likely that there will be always some disbalance between teams since it's pure 3v3. With all the criticism of the current system, I am afraid that there may be no good solutions for that at all.
But I am sure for one thing that solos shouldn't be teamed with pre-made squads.
- @RockDokRock i feel that, cause even in high levels you sometimes get into even harder lobby where you feel like a potato. That's the other side of the same issue.
I can't even blame the guys with less experience, cause in the first place such unbalanced teams shouldn't even exist.@Revanchist_KR I think it's just broken match making overall. My avg damage/kd per season over the last 4 - 5 seasons has consistently GONE DOWN every season as opposed to going up from day 1 (as a day 1 player my stats were always getting better than around season 5 or 6... boom down they have gone ever since). Either I'm getting worse or i am getting ranked against better and better players which isn't really right. Been happening for ages.
I haven't bothered with ranked since the season it was "a thing". I just don't see the point. The "leave early" penalty put me off as I should have every right to ditch toxic team mates.
It's only been in the last month or two I've detected a noticeable improvement in my gameplay (probably thanks to playing with some friends who play *WAY* above my ability level - even when I'm down and watching through their eyes I learn tons).
