Why is the nickname different?
I play Apex Legends and use an EA account linked to Steam! I have the nickname "Astronicat" listed everywhere, but my friends send me game statistics that indicate a certain "GalaxyBonk". Where does this name come from? I couldn’t find anywhere linking such a nickname to my account! Neither in Origin nor in EA nor in Steam... I would like to change this name! I'm not pleased to see him

To confirm do you see that nickname in the Steam or EA app clients? If not do you see it in the game at all?
If not, I'm not sure what stat your friend showed that contained that name do you possibly have a screenshot you can share?
