Why make caustic so weak now and Wraith still having the advantage?

Why only listen to streamers and pro players, but the largest amount of people that play are people like me, Caustic needs a buff, he is really slow after the last nerf and useless out of a building,...

@Zencho_369 Don't you bring my wraith into this in comparison. Wraith has zero Advantages...... Wraith has been nerfed more times then every single legend combined together...... Why the eff does she deserve more nerfs because players are bad at the game and unable to kill her....... Nothing about her is broken but the players who have crap aim and cant hit their way out a paper sack.

She is nerfed time and time again not because she was over powered ONLY because the pick rate for her is super high compared to others. Instead lets punish people who find wraith to be the most fun by nerfing her more into the ground in hopes she wont be picked as much.

Learn to kill her she is easy to kill. We dont see wraiths on these forums saying its impossible to kill wraiths. You do not see high level players with 3k + hours and over 10k games played on these forums saying wraith is over powered and cant be killed. Because she is just as killable as any other legend. People should get good. First time ive said this term on these forums and i mean it. Players need to stop being bad at the game and blaming a legend for their lack of skill.

      @hayhor true true i seen that and kinda hit a rage this morning. I am not sure how much more of this game i can actually take with the direction they keep going. They are not nerfing legends because of their abilities they keep nerfing or increasing because of pick rates.

      Instead of asking them self hmm crypto isnt picked much wonder why... Well the legend is utter garbage and not remotely fun to play. Same as all other lower picked legends. This is their way of forcing people to play legends not hardly picked. It backfires on them every single time because we still pick wraith...

      We do not pick wraith because she is OP or she is hard to kill. We pick her because we find her the most fun. As you do caustic. The Devs have zero idea or clue of what they are doing and its obvious at this point seeing they nerf because of pick rates.

    @E9ine_AC actually it's a fair comparison. If they don't buff other legends that means they should nerf those that are at the top. The whole argument people had against the Caustic buff is that it's slowly turning into overwatch with all the ability buff. When in reality Caustic's trap is still super situational even with the buff meanwhile Wraith's phase is still one of the strongest ability in the game.

    Just to clear things out I don't think Wraith should be nerfed but I do think Caustic deserved that buff.

      @Daze623 You do understand they are basing these nerfs purely on pick rates correct? Not because the legend actually needs nerfed because of a over powering ability. Maybe they should more focus on buffing weaker legends verse nerfing the stronger ones bringing the weak legends on par with strong picked ones.

      I can understand fully nerfs being done to abilities or legends with true data showing it has a great advantage. But dont nerf because she is picked more. Thats like nerfing the double cheese burger at McDonalds because its what you prefer to eat.

        @E9ine_AC The nerfs aren't based solely on pick rates. It also takes into account encounter win rate, team win rate etc. Wraith is still at the top btw. I would suggest giving her a medium hitbox so that everyone has the same hitbox. Not saying that Wraith is unkillable, it's just more balanced that way. But Devs have already stated they can't do much changes to hitbox because that requires a lot of work ranging from animations to skin overhaul.

    @E9ine_AC They should have never nerfed wraith's abilities. I found it really stupid that they nerfed the distance you can place the portal. The delay in q also feels so bad. However I completely disagree with you in regards to her hitbox. Her hitbox needs serious readjustments. Her animations are so fast that, if played right you're gonna have to predict if she will strafe left/right or in what direction she will jump/crouch in order to hit her. What i'm basically saying is to hit a good wraith, even from close distance you have to shoot where she will be, not where she actually is. I have noticed this against other legends too, like lifeline, wattson, old pathfinder (before the nerf of his hitbox) but on wraith it is much more prominent. I am saying this while having 9k kills on wraith.

      @Tad844 i got around 15k games on my wraith give or take maybe 500-1000 on other legends. Her hit box is fine. People just cant aim. We see in tournaments all the time wraith dying to good players. Those openly show her hit box is fine for people who actually know how to aim. I can kill wraiths while playing wraith. Wraiths can kill me while being wraith. Any legend can kill me if they know how to point a gun at me.

        @E9ine_AC I can go as far to say that people would still pick wraith, if she had no abilities at all, only because of her hitbox and animations.
