Why players are quitting Apex

It's because of the "make the game stupid easy so everyone can have some fun" mentality.

-They don't want legends with a lot of mobility ( a grapple every 35 secs doesn't count sorry ) because apparently some players don't know whats going on in a fight when someone changes positions. Game now feels like a walking simulator, especially on worlds edge.

-Low skill ceiling, I miss the days when ppl would be fighting on ziplines and stuff.

So yeah, leaving cause of the things mentioned above, waiting for Hyper Scape.

Thoughts?

@Abyssloli Lack of content and to long on updates, also when/if they come it's only partial fix, skill ceiling being removed, no incentive to play, delayed input and awful servers, ranked is a joke since series 2 (again no incentive), no solos (fair enough it's a team game) but without that option then removing or nerfing all solo skill abilities puts many off when friends aren't online, audio is atrocious in many many ways, unnecessary visual and audio hindering gameplay, no communication from devs unless it's personal twitter and the drip feed we get from media basically states they don't give a damn. Core game has degraded so badly but we're going to get more purchasable content with this new studio which will add to the problems.. but here's a new skin for 20 bucks! Should i go on?

Bad servers and the rampart of cheaters (it has never been worse since release in my experience)

BTW if u guys want high skill floor and celling go play Crypto. Easily solved. 😛

@Abysslolinope, nobody cares about the skillcap since there's no competition, people quit because of the lack of content, there's one new character+smapp map revamp every 4 months and nothing between

@Abyssloli Same. When friends are online and playing w/ me, it's very fun. But just solo queuing get boring very quick. I also can't wait for Hyper Scape. I will still play Apex sometimes, but I will mostly play Hyper Scape just because it is new and fun.

@shadowninja5044 Yeah I'm exactly the same...I can't tolerate playing apex for more than 5 matches if I dont have friends online, I'll normally just jump on TF2 instead.
I'll continue to play Apex but hyperscape will likely be my solo game if it turns out to be what I hope for in a BR....and from what I've watched that probably will be the case.

I'm somewhere in the middle. They're likely trying their best to release as much content as they can, listen to the community, and make changes to both maps.. it's just upsetting that anything added isn't fully appreciated with cheaters.

@NaRnIaaa Well I do care about the skill cap, some players reach a point where the only way to rank up even more is to play with premades instead of solely relying on your skills.

Garbage is what it is a lot of times right now. I like the game but it feels like EA is telling them not to do anything that might stop making them money, like stopping leavers.
its why a great game like this feels like a cheap suit wearing executive runs it like a dollar store.
