@ProbablySinningI def understand that. But it’s not the ‘ohh I want to get kills quick’ what @Silz616 keeps hammering on about that I’m interested in. If I wanted that, I’d just play high speed TDM. I like honing my skills by way of having multiple variables engaging all simultaneously. 3 variables are for example 1 squad, one cargo bot and another is loot. In most cases this is what most people have. This is boring because you can use that cargo bot as a lure to draw them in and kill them.
The more variables in play, how more active your brain becomes until it becomes too much. For example an unheard enemy shoots you from behind in a small room and you have to adjust to the situation knowing precisely where he is to shoot, factoring the fact you are already hurt, the weapon he’s using etc.
Fighting multiple teams I find endearing since I have to position myself in the game AND inside multiple ppl. ‘How will they walk’, ‘who will they shoot’, ‘are they any good at multi squad fights’ etc and this all happends in split second while you have to keep your own witts.
I’m not trying to be Shroud. Heck, if you said his name to me last year I’d be like ‘who?’ cause I don’t care for streamers, pro’s and such. I’m a scholar, I like engaging my brain. Simple one on one is boring. Squads I’m already versed in, so still not much activity in the brain which in turn doesn’t change to ‘play better’. So next step is multi squad battles :D
oh right, let it be known that I have no idea which one is which and I rarely play ‘norm apex’, I just commented on multi squad battle part instead of the location and hotdropping (which I seldom do). I do go places where I know other squads will be
