I will ask a question. Why can't you play for any legend at the SHOOTING RANGE in the Apex game? It's illogical! Let's say I'm a new player and I want to decide which legend I will open first, but I can't see the abilities of each legend because I need to open them so that they are available both in a normal game and on the shooting range. WHERE IS THE LOGIC?!
i agree, youtube can be a great resource but its best to actually be able to try the legends out to be able to make a decision
I can't remember which season it was but for the final week of the season you could use any legend on the firing range. No idea whether it was intentional or not.
Which season started where on the first day you could only use the six original legends? Aside from Season 0 of course?

I agree and think this would be a helpful feature for newer players to try out locked Legends and help them decide who they want to unlock next.
For the moment though, if you're questioning which Legend to buy next, feel free to ask. My criteria used to be:
For example, I'm a Revenant main. I chose to unlock him before most other Legends because a) he's an Attack character, which is my thing b) I loved his character as a whole, evil, edgy assassin and c) he's associated with aggressive playstyles, which is my thing
I strongly advise against forcing yourself to play what are labelled "the best Legends" if you don't enjoy playing them just because they're the best. Although some Legends are better than others, they are all balanced, you can obviously win with every Legend (even Mirage). No point playing the game if you're not having fun. Just pick who you know you'll enjoy most.
