Wildcards is a fun mode, ok, but it isn´t fun if a Squad Member leave the game cause he had a bad start, didn´t get as many kills / dmg as he wants and so on because WC is a Team Game u need the Members to come back if u got down...
And now I had 5 Games in a Row where a Member leave the game after a few min.
So perhaps a 5 min penalty would stop those leaver from destroying the game for the rest of the Squad?
I sympathize. BUT. This is an un-ranked, ultra-casual mode, and nothing about it is designed to be taken seriously. If you want quit penalties to keep your squadmates from ditching then the place for you is ranked. Wildcard is a dumpster fire, and I'm honestly surprised that you're only noticing quitters now. I've been seeing them, and being them, since the first day.
normally i would be with you, in unranked game, where quitters are also a problem, it is way less a problem than in wildcards, even if it´s a fun casual mode.
Problem in Wildcard is that you need your teammates still alive to get back into the game, so if 1 of them leave you know by yourself that the chance to get into the late ring is nearly impossible and you can leave too, queue new, wait some time to rejoin and perhaps the same sh.. again xD.
Many ppl use wc only for getting badges and if they do bad at the beginning, they leave and rejoin and destroy the game for the 2 other teammates.
Yup, I've seen a few people who fit the description of a badge chaser. But I've also seen several people who try desperately to keep up with their other guns-ablazin' teammate (not me) and can't keep up and end by dying repeatedly without getting so much as a knock. Having an off match? SBMM out to lunch? Does WC even use sbmm? Who knows? Anyway, I see people like this in about every third or fourth match, and more often than not they don't stay for the abuse. And who can blame them? As for their absence making my late-game push that much harder... would it have gone any better if they'd stayed? Highly doubtful. It just is what it is.
