Sorry to have not had this info previously, the season 7 BP is not included as part of an EA Play Pro membership, we have the following messaging.
I’m an EA Play Pro member, why don’t I get the S7 Battle Pass anymore?
While we won't be providing a Battle Pass for this season in Apex Legends, we are providing our members with an exclusive gun charm that they'll receive later this month. That said, we're committed to continually experimenting with new benefits for our EA Play and EA Play Pro members. We'll keep everyone up to date on what new rewards and perks we have in store for the future, so stay tuned!
I am not a fan of EA's track record with DLC and in app purchases, I think the corporate greed has stifled creativity, and ruined some great studios and franchises.. but THAT WAS SOMETHING I ALREADY KNEW when I started playing Apex.

Respawn has made a great game, and they continue to do great work making it better - and here's the funny thing - IT'S FREE TO PLAY. You do not HAVE to purchase anything.
For every single person who posted in this thread about how they're cancelling their sub or quitting the game, I'm going to buy $10 worth of Apex packs, even though I both do not need them and hate giving money to EA almost as much as I hate that they haven't used that money to hire another sound engineer to work on the audio issues in Apex..
Ya'll a bunch of complainers and this is the biggest gathering of 1st world problem having babies I've seen on the internet in a looong time. Take a look at what's happening in the world around you, and like.. maybe this isn't as big of a deal as you think it is. Get some freaking perspective.
And remember, the next mirage who bamboozles you with a legendary skin - probably spent money to buy it directly from the store, overpriced, for no reason other than to have a laugh at your pathetic anger. <3

@sSipsterI agree that one should not blame a single individual, but you have to admit that EA is really stupid to do this - as a company with such a history of greedy malpractice and customer neglect, I think it would be stupid not to react and voice your discontent as a consumer.

That's a fairly good point, and I think I let the frustrations of people misdirecting personal blame here blind me to that somewhat.
EA has not only a history, but a continued acceptance of prioritizing greed over quality and that's something that continually worries me with regard to their influence over the Respawn team. :-/

Everyone can get a refund for this as ''seasonal pass'' and ''seasonal battle pass'' are implying the same thing. The word battle is irrelevant.
EA support will initially refuse (claiming some legal loophole because of wording or it being hidden in the T&C covering themselves) but just call out how dishonest it is to advertise in such a deceitful way while being persistent and they'll eventually give your money back.
As they can't change/remove in-game items or currency, you'll still be able to complete the pass while retaining your coins from end of season to purchase the next pass too.
I did this in S1 and had free BP to date. If they remove anything from my account now they'll prove they were lying as i kept all the chat logs.
Shoes on the other foot for a change... EA got EA'd.
