@GH0STEDbyME
Have you played Apex on Xbox One S?
Xbox One S ranges between 640p and 720p and sometimes with fps drops.
It's a blurry mess you can't even use Wingman with red dot to hit far targets.
Even with x2 on every weapon and especially snipers it's a bit hard to aim because of low resolution and if its a sniper battle you are clearly at a disadvantage.
I believe Xbox One is worse but fortunately they don't sell it anymore.
Imagine Switch 720p and i'm sure it'll be lower resolution and frames.
Now let's try Ranked with 2 Switch teammates 🙂
They already put me with 2 Playstation players most of the time while i'm on Xbox.
They should put crossplay option on/off and if i can't find players then i would enable it.
or if i could just disable Switch crossplay.
I haven't played any game on Switch but joycons might be a problem too.
30 fps? Ranked match is already lost.
- 5 years ago@SpyrosFPS That was the point I was making xD. Joycons are bad for competitive games xD.
I think it’ll be 30 fps max and that would be in docked mode xD. Handheld mode? 24Hz xD.
I played Spellbreak. Most of the time I got switch teammates... Well I wouldn’t say I was extremely efficient at the game but high dmg/kill count & wins were every match guaranteed... my teammates tho? Mostly dead after 1 encounter... - GH0STEDbyME5 years agoHero@SpyrosFPS Nope. I played on launch xbox and then upgraded to a one X. We still don't have the option to turn off crossplay do we? (without having to go into xbox privacy settings I mean).
@Koochi-Q Surely they can't limit it to 30 fps. If they wanna slaughter them that badly then they should just put them in with pc players xD- 5 years ago@GH0STEDbyME If Fortnite with the cartoony style graphics can’t do 60fps on Switch I would be shocked if Apex ran above 30 on Switch. As an above poster said it couldn’t even handle 60 on Xbox One. So I am curious to see how this will affect crossplay and whether quality of teammates will be seriously affected
- 5 years ago@GH0STEDbyME It’s not about limiting. It’s about the limited capabilities of the Switch. Most games run at 30fps and even competitive games that aren’t BRs run lower than 60... especially if it’s not a first party dev.
Fortnite runs 30... like @MyName1sNotJohn said so Apex will be the same.
Lolz @E9ine_AC Stadia 100% aim assist xD first draw first kill.- 5 years ago
If the game will run on a questionable 30fps would that not mean Switch players are at a disadvantage? How would that be fair for a switch player if he goes up against a pc player?
