Will there ever be a tourament game mode in Apex

Rocket league introduced a tournament game mode and I loved to play it.

Many other games have realesed a tourament game mode and I was wondering if there will ever be a tournament mode in apex legends.

It seems like the perfect game for a tourament mode.

Its Is fun to play under stress levels like as you experience in tournaments 

It would be good to compete for rewards as it makes it more interesting that there is something on the line.

Also it allows the players to closely experience what it would be like to play in esports

    @Sjhennessey07 I've seen mention from Respawn, that they are wanting to add custom lobbies across all platforms at some point. No ETA on it, and I haven't seen any details about what features it will have and whatnot. It would then be up to players to organize tourneys on their end, I would imagine, aside from the ALGS and official tourneys.

    Nothing solid, but they have mentioned custom lobbies as a feature they are looking to add at some point. If there's any more recent info that I missed, hopefully someone else will drop by with more info.

    @Sjhennessey07If they ever do it, it will be for arenas and not for BR. HOWEVER, there was this past mode way back in S1 called Elite Queue where you have to place top 5 in the game then the next match, you will be up against other top 5 players. This mode was a test for ranked mode I believe.
