Will there ever be a tourament game mode in Apex

Rocket league introduced a tournament game mode and I loved to play it. Many other games have realesed a tourament game mode and I was wondering if there will ever be a tournament mode in apex legen...

@Sjhennessey07If they ever do it, it will be for arenas and not for BR. HOWEVER, there was this past mode way back in S1 called Elite Queue where you have to place top 5 in the game then the next match, you will be up against other top 5 players. This mode was a test for ranked mode I believe.
