Would You Want the Anvil and Selectfire Receivers to Come Back?
I liked the diversity they brought to longer range engagements, and the combat diversity they gave certain weapons. I would only want it to come back if the Triple Take got some love, a la what I posted about here. It would help the Triple Take have some parity if the Anvil and Selectfire Receivers were reintroduced.
Would you want them back? Would you want it in a limited circumstance, such as only craftable at delivered replicators (not replicators near materials by default)?
- Selectfire Receiver: The Selectfire Receiver hop-up grants an alternative fire mode: It allowed the Prowler to fire full-auto and the HAVOC to fire a single hit-scan laser.
- Anvil Receiver: The Anvil Receiver hop-up increased semi-auto damage, but the single fire uses 2 ammo per shot while the rate of fire was reduced. The single-fire damage multiplier was 2.5x for the R-301 Carbine and 2.25x for the VK-47 Flatline.
