Getting very washed out looking captures on xbox one s since new HDR popped up for s7. Am running the xbox at 4k uhd at 60 htz as 120 unavailable on TV. The only settings on xbox for capture @ 1080 or @ 720 are SDR.
Is this why captures look so poor?

Gonna do some tests myself
[EDIT] tried doing 4K recording... it does not work on both the SDR as HDR... so set it back to 1080p. Later I’m gonna try another game. See if the problem’s Apex...

@OldTreeCreeperI am still able to do that... hmmm weird. Your xbox may just be on the fritz...
If you have an additional usb 3 hdd that you don’t use, reformat that on your xbox, let that be the default capture location and see if that helps. If same situation persists it’s your xbox that is the problem.
@Koochi-Q I can capture fortnite play and screenshots, so it's not the xbox. Bare in mind it started directly after the dl for s7 and the new hdr thing.

@Koochi-Q Yea, I'm getting the feeling it's an internal xbox issue with the new hdr, and not a busted xbox either. The play display of apex is fantastic in hdr, fortnite is good too, so no issue there.
@Koochi-Q it's working now after the update. Can record lovely hdr 😃
There's been no xbox system update since we spoke???!!!???
