Revenant ult gotta be one of the most unfun and uncreative ability in the game

I have been playing Rev since release and the change they made to his tac is fine but his ultimate is boring as hell you literally just give yourself more hp it cant be more boring than that. And im not even saying this because i think its annoying to deal with (I usually get my forged shadows shredded in less than 2 seconds and i rarely seen any rev main make a real use of it against me) but my point is i dont have fun or being able to make very creative plays with it as much as say Bloodhound ult or Fuzes ult. His old ult (shadow totem) was hella fun and require a lot of creativity and planning with it. It also involved team play which is never a bad thing to have. Also if you combine shadow totem with his current tac (shadow leap) then it would have the potential of being a strategic combination. I still think that if they returned shadow totem then some teaks are gonna be required like fixing the issue of destroying the totem by accident when you return to it (since you dont know when to die and you keep shooting) and some recon abilities mixed with the totem might strengthen its potential.

  • No, his old tactical was better. Being able to shut down all these annoying wallhacks and movement abilities and force a person into a GUNFIGHT was ideal.

yea but it was very situational too, And there were many ways to play around it. Most of the time it does nothing to your opponent (whom most likely already used their abilities by the time you used silence on them) especially if they were good guns. Now im not saying it cant be made better though. Bro imagine if they made it disable passives too and scanned the opponent that would be interesting to see.

Once you say it like that he was a good counter the hacks & cheaters! lol😆

  • I honestly prefer Revenant's old kit because it made Revenant.... Revenant.

Respawn made more sense with Lifeline's rework as they've made her more of a combat medic rather than a "lol now the whole lobby knows I've dropped a care package, ya welcome!" medic.

I also don't like the fact that Seer got Revenant's silencer ability due to the fact that he can silence you through walls at a far range, (although, rarely anyone ever picks Seer, so its not THAT much of an issue).

  • I do miss old Rev. He was great example balance of good/bad abilities "my forged shadows shredded in less than 2 seconds"

I would be sweating trying to keep my shadow alive like the ALGS or either I can get a good push if called it right!  It was well balanced imo     I know 3tack pred master attack! talk but maybe that was a skill issue.  against me I would call it a good play but not op   a balance between the 2 would be cool.    -Purple shield upgrade Totem or Forged shadows but it would cool if we had option to switch between ults/abilities previously made

  • IMO they should just make another version of rev with the old abilities set its not that hard i imagine

Exactly, Bro imagine how much peps would be pissed off if they replaced pathy grapple with another ability and it doesnt matter if that said ability was stronger people would still prefer the grapple bcause its what makes pathfinder the silly stupid robot that he is (im not mirage trust me)
