@KelRiever The reason master lobbies do not feel different is because of 2 reasons-
1- Matchmaking isn't based off rank. It is based on the hidden MMR. You could have a masters paired with a silver.
2- There are over 1.5 million people that reached masters. Normally that number is 20 to 40k. Let that sink in. This means there are 40 to 50 times the number of players in masters rank. You can be a literal Bronze player level gun skill that finds a youtube vid on rat spots and make Masters.
As far as getting people to log in daily- The steam player data shows a drop of 17% and 12% the last two months so it clearly worked the opposite way. People that love ranked like it because they can grind at it and feel like they are getting better. The current format isn't doing that.
