You guys are just the worst

I just want to say, out of any company ever, EA have the absolute worst support I have ever seen. In these forums, absolutely nothing ever gets solved. All you ever do is basically say "contact EA support" or something useless like that and when people eventually contact support, they are no help whatsoever. It feels like we're in the 1900s here. You should fire absolutely everyone to do with support and redo the whole system. While you're at it, redo everything. Everything about EA is just absolutely awful.

    Often, when this happens, it means you're resetting the password for the wrong account. The best I can advise is to confirm you're using the email address of the account you normally play on. Unfortunately, we can't help with account related issues through Answers HQ so I would have to refer you to opening a case here with an advisor to get some assistance. Thank you.

  • Literally all I want to do is sign into apex on a new steam account. I put in my email and password correctly and kt tells me my details are incorrect. It is happening over and over. I have changed my password 3 times and still can't log in. I didn't bother asking about it because I know you useless people will just tell me to contact some kind of useless agent. I'm just going to uninstall this terrible game by this terrible company. 

  • @EEASUPPORTSUCKS I really understand your frustration but I just want to clear one thing.
    this forum is just for discussion between the fans , and the CMs are here just to monitories the posts ,threads, replies and members to make sure that everything is in line with their terms and conditions.

    in all honesty I never found solution for any problem related to games or online or computers in general in any official forums for any company or a game.
    solution can be usually found on the internet , youtube ,reddit and even fakebook some times.
    you might find the answer in forums if someone shared their experience with similar issue and share the solution when they find it.

    regarding your problem I'm not a PC player but i have some notes which i hope it will be useful.
    if the problem is signing in to steam or origin then it's not related to Apex or any other game , that's related to the platform it self which you will need to check it with them directly.
    if the problem is you are unable to connect to apex account after logging in to steam or origin then maybe you didn't link the new Apex account to the platform account.
    you said the error is incorrect password , sometimes it's a silly mistake.
    maybe you forgot the CapsLock, maybe you changed the keyboard language if you use more than one, maybe there is an upper case that you forgot about.
    it happens to everyone , again I'm just trying to help and I'm not an expert

    It is true, the About AHQ does say;

    it's a global community focused on players helping players.

    BUT EA could have support staff here too, to help people with issues, rather then needing to go log into your account and go the Help section that way, to either chat, send a email, or phone.

    Yes in the 21st Century, a forum is also a great place to offer support, and it's also a lot easier for customers too, that's another reason why EA should offer Forum Support, to make it easier on people.

    Getting support from a company should not be difficult and I can tell you, I have found, going the normal route of seeking support with this company quite painful.

    Unfortunately, we're not able to help with account related issues over Answers HQ. It's a security issue. You have to go through account verification before we can make changes to an account. This is something an advisor needs to do. Which is why we have to refer you there for help with anything account related.

    Actually, you guys prove @EEASUPPORTSUCKS's point on the poor support from EA directly. This forum is indeed by the community, for the community. So where's EA's real support?

    @EEASUPPORTSUCKS: On the other hand, some things do get solved here and there, and on other games forums, too.

    We already offer support for in-game issues here. We just can't help with anything account related.
