@Cro_Pittt I thought they had improved at first, but they haven't they're just louder.
The directional audio on footsteps is all over the show lol.
The audio is definitely worse than ever....maybe we should just stop asking for things to be improved lol.
@MandatoryIDtag Most of the audio concerns at the moment are purely centered around Horizon. She makes noise virtually gone with abilities going and such. If she Q around a team the audio will be freaky for a few seconds even can silence gunshots completely.

The playerbases frustration regarding the audio is certainly warranted though, we're told in the patch notes we're receiving audio improvements and overall they're significantly worse than before.
If like @E9ine_AC suggests and these problems are mostly related to horizon though....hopefully that should make it somewhat easier to fix.
I did manage to get my hands on a Devotion last night that appeared to have been fitted with a 'silent firing' hop-up.

Both times I've fully lost weapon audio for me and the enemy has been near her active tactical.
- @MandatoryIDtag The issues I encountered on audio side were rarely Horizon related. I'd say it's something related to the large number of sounds that are currently in game, their more advanced modulation, the allocated memory, the resources required to process them, their priority / state system. I have a feeling that high end PCs have less problems, almost none when game is played on LAN (in house testing, tournaments) but it's not like they can throw the low end devices out of the window, and we certainly can't play the game on LAN, unless we can print enough money to host a tournament at a venue every day.
@DoYaSeeMe Maybe dude, you're the tech boffin out the two of us here so your thoughts are probably more plausible....but its sure one hell of a coincidence if these issues are kicking in when horizons round.
Either way I hope it doesn't take too long to resolve!
- @E9ine_AC it is definitely a Horizon character thing as when i change characters it doesnt happen really at all.
I hope they fix it soon.Just wanted to say how the audio is horrible in the Winter event. There are "no sound" issues almost 50% of the time, just horrible...
