Apex packs entice you with possibility and guarantees if you don’t get the item within a certain number of packs. They are a scam, but crafted in smart way. Whoever created them certainty knows what they’re doing. The battle pass is simply all marketing. Apex is losing money by offering it only for $10. However, the money it costs to buy the battle pass makes up for that, and if you don’t, the more you play, the more likely you are to purchase things. Unfortunately, with a game so heavy in monetization lacks the ability to stick around for 10 years like other games. The game is meant to burn bright, then flame out.
