@ringin10I think the players having no recoil when specating is because of the netcode. You don't see how their aim actually is when spectating but rather the smoothed out approximation. What makes it worse is the fact that Apex has rather bad tickrate compared to other games.
EDIT: But then again. Simple google search reveals there are tons of norecoil scripts out there easily available for download. Shouldn't affect you if you are playing on console though, so I think the first conclusion is correct.

I'm inclined to agree with @Anonymous.
If there was hacks available for console formats the lobbies would be crammed to the brim with players using them.
Especially since console generally has a younger player base and kids think they're smart because they're "hacking".
- 6 years ago@Anonymous That's interpolation, not netcode.
- Anonymous6 years ago@DoYaSeeMe interpolation is part of netcode.
- 6 years ago@Anonymous Netcode is a term most commonly used by gamers when discussing synchronization issues between clients and servers, while interpolation smooths out the movement of an object between two known points, so a client side process. Sure, it relies on the data sent over the network but doesn't affect it, so it's safe to say that interpolation is not part of the netcode we usually blame.
- 6 years ago@Anonymous I have to agree with you, it appears spectate mode is not giving a full representation of game play, thanks for the response.
