100% CPU usage/ frequently crash down

Before the Event update between 9.16 & 9.17, my PC's CPU always stay below 35% while running the game.

After the event update, my PC CPU goes to 100%, and the game crashes randomly.

I've followed every method this link provided:

Changed every graphic effect setting to the lowest.

Adaptive Resolution FPS Target is 60.

I also use +fps_max 60 command.

But it doesn't help at all.

The crashes behavior is a little difference after the updates on 9.22.

Before 9.22, the crashes usually follow with a screen stuck first.

When I tried to use the glide move, or Gibraltar opens his dome. My screen got stuck and then the game crashed

After 9.22, My game still got stuck for a while, but after that the game can still continue without problem.

But the crashes become randomly. The game just crashed without any sign.

Is there a crash dump file or game log I can provide to help you solve the problem?

My game ID is HOYO if it helps.

I think many people really like this game. So the more problems we met, the more frustrating we get.

Hope you guys can find an ultimate solution.

So i tired everything in that youtube video- no luck. At this point I'm going to completely delete the game and try switching to origin maybe? who freaking knows at this point

i have that problem 2 months with i7 10700k and rtx 3080.... so sad, so much money i spent for that pc and apex laging lol, started after genesis update

@xiopiyeotl damn man, yeah I was really hoping that recent video would fix everything but it was the same thing- wouldn't really get past 80fps when it used to be in the 140-150 range before 9/22

I just got a new PC today. An Acer Nitro 5 with an Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-10300H CPU @ 2.50GHz and a Nvidia RTX 3050 laptop GPU. I have installed all Windows drivers and Nvidia driver (via the Geforce App) and set all settings in-game to low. By turning V-sync on to Adaptive, I can get the game to run smoothly at 60-100 FPS but the CPU is still maxed.
