1/9 attempts to connect issue on loading screen

Hi all, when i first installed apex and the EA app it was working perfectly. But I've since had no luck connecting to the game at all. My EA app will let me view the game gallery etc, but I can't see my friends list or change my status to online. 

Further, I can't connect to EA servers to play Apex Legends. It loads up and then 'attempts to connect' just to come up with a popup saying I can't connect to ea servers. 

I've never been banned or suspended, done all the troubleshooting but I still have this problem more than 48 hours later. Any help?
