Apex Legends Random Crashes After 2-3 Hours
Hi everyone, I'm experiencing consistent crashes in Apex Legends and need help. The game crashes randomly after 2-3 hours of gameplay with no error message - it just closes to desktop instantly. My System Configuration: CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9800X3D GPU: NVIDIA RTX 5080 Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX X870-A OS: Windows (latest version) What I've Already Tried (Following EA Support Recommendations): BIOS Settings: Precision Boost Overdrive (PBO): Disabled SoC/Uncore OC Mode: Disabled All CPU overclocking disabled - running at stock clocks GPU Settings: NVIDIA Control Panel: Debug Mode enabled (forces reference clocks) No overclocking - stock GPU settings Latest NVIDIA drivers installed In-Game & Software: All overlays disabled (Steam, Discord, GeForce Experience) Game files verified multiple times Tried lowering graphics settings Running game as administrator All background apps closed (no MSI Afterburner, Razer Synapse, etc.) Additional Steps: EA App cache cleared Tried disabling MediaTek wireless network card Generated DxDiag logs for EA support Important Context: Other games work perfectly fine (Battlefield 5, Battlefield 6, etc.) - NO crashes Crashes happen regardless of game mode (happens during ranked matches too, causing penalties) No error messages - just instant crash to desktop Happens consistently after 2-3 hours of gameplay EA Support Response: I've contacted EA Support multiple times. They acknowledged this appears to be a known issue with high-end hardware and said the development team is investigating. However, even after following all their workaround steps, the problem persists. Question: Is anyone else experiencing similar crashes with Ryzen 9000 series or RTX 5000 series cards? This seems to be an Apex-specific issue since other demanding games run flawlessly on the same hardware. Any additional suggestions or confirmation from Respawn would be greatly appreciated. This makes ranked play nearly impossible. Thanks in advance!Error Help: EAC Not Installed
Whenever I open the game it freezes for a bit, then gives me an error stating that easy anti cheat is not installed or can’t be reached. This started around two weeks ago or so, and I still haven’t found a fix. Any suggestions? Things I’ve tried (applicable to EA and Steam versions of Apex, as I’ve tried with both and neither work); 1) Uninstalling and Reinstalling 2) Verifying & Repairing files 3) Deleting EAC before I repair the files so it’s forced to reinstall 4) The EAC recommended fix via command prompt. Tried two more times, one where I uninstalled and reinstalled the game afterwards, and another where I restarted my computer 5) Creating an EAC shortcut with different launch properties 6) Repairing using EAC (EAC claims that it is not installed and therefore cannot repair anything) 7) Running both Apex and EAC as administrator 8) Allowing all EA game folders exceptions for virus protections 9) Allowing Apex. EA. and EAC through firewalls 10) Recovering deleted files in case I somehow deleted EAC or something. I couldn’t find anything 11) Turned on compatibility modes (though I’m on Windows 11 so that was a long shot) 12) Adjusting in-game settings before it kicks me back to the error screen I can run DBD fine so it isn’t like my hardware hates EAC, it seems to just be an apex issue and it’s driving me mad to be honest </3. I also do not have any other antivirus software installed, and I didn’t download anything between when it last worked and when it stopped working. Any help would be greatly appreciated!Apex Legends Crashing on Startup
From steam, I click on play. The small window for the game starts to open but immediately crashes as it is saying " WAITING FOR GAME ..." I get a Crash Report Handler that says "The application has encountered an unexpected error". Mentions how I could create a memory dump to help aid with support, but sadly, the Create memory dump button is grayed out. This has happened to me before, but I waited for the next update to be pushed out, and it fixed the game. I have tried; Running as admin Verifying integrity of game files...Deleting a folder, then re-verifying game files. I have done a full uninstall/reinstall. and a few other small things I read on the internet.Apex Launches and Closes Instantly

Hi, so I’m playing on the switch and periodically (every half hour - hour) the game crashes as I load into a match. This means I have to kill it and restart in order to get back into the match only half the time it doesn’t work so I just get a matchmaking penalty. When this starts hap it seems to just create a manual boot loop just to try and play the game. I genuinely couldn’t tell you what’s wrong with it despite being somewhat of a tech guy I’m just hoping it’s not so simple as a hardware error. That being the console is too old.11Views0likes0Comments
