Wrongfully Banned
Before November 5, 2025, I never encountered any error messages when launching Apex Legends. However, on November 5, after I connected an external monitor to my laptop, when I tried to open Apex Legends, it showed a "missing file" error. I uninstalled Apex Legends and reinstalled it, but the "missing file" error still appeared. I saw someone say that creating a new file in the location where the file was missing would allow the game to launch. I think this might be a key reason why I got banned. After that, every time I turn on my computer and open Apex Legends, it shows a "missing file" error. Every time, I have to create a new file, and the name of the required file is different each time. Please check carefully— I have never engaged in any rule-breaking behaviors such as using cheats or hurling insults. I need help!!!!!!!! Please........Code-Anti cheat authentication timeout.
I was fine playing in the afternoon of 28th Oct. It happened to me on the 28th of October. I have found so many solutions in yt guide, such as running as Administrator, restarting the router, following the command,I verified the files and reinstalled the game 2 times, and it's still not working for me. I asked my friend to help me for hours, and still haven't solved the problem. I do not know what can i do anymore. I live in Asia and i hope EA would help me to solve the problem so that i can play the game!520Views1like31CommentsAccount-Bound "code:net" Error - Requesting Session Reset
I'm posting here because I'm stuck with a game-breaking bug that is 100% tied to my EA account, and I've been unable to play Apex for almost a week.I've already been through EA Support (Agent Rahul), who agreed this is an account-level issue and told me to post here to get my case escalated for a fix. My Account: EA ID: ShiinaWakana Email: [edit: email address removed] When I start Apex, I get to the main menu. My ping to the data center is low and stable (e.g., ap-east-1 at 81ms, 0% packet loss). The instant I click "Continue" to enter the lobby, my ping spikes to 280ms-300ms+ , and I'm kicked back to the menu with a "code:net" error. This happens every single time. How I Know This is an Account Bug (but not my PC/network): I’ve done extensive testing to isolate this problem. It is not my hardware or my network. 1.I logged into my account (ShiinaWakana) on a completely different computer at another location. The exact same "code:net" problem happened. 2.My friend logged into their EA account on my computer, using my network. It worked perfectly for them. My Own Troubleshooting: I have already tried every fix I could find. I reset my network, followed all standard EA Help guides, and even did a complete reinstallation of my entire operating system. The bug is still there. This all started the night I downloaded Battlefield 6. Rahul concluded this is likely "account-level routing or corrupted session data" and that my case needs to be escalated. He advised me to request a "full session and routing reset" for my account (ShiinaWakana) from the Live Services team. Please, can someone here escalate this? I just want to play the game again. Thank you.I got hacked and banned and they refuse to unban me
I got hacked and then banned on ea account and apex I proved I was hacked restored my ea account turned on 2FA. Then I appeal the Apex Legends ban as it was also due to me being hacked I never cheated or disobeyed the ToS. Then I get a reply of refusal to unban me. This is a joke and I need help in fixing this if anyone from the ea support or ToS team is available on this forum to help or if any community member has advice on what to do next. As it stands I have sent another appeal regarding my apex ban don't know if it will get ovcerturned or declined but honestly this is disgusting because the most simple thing to do is unban me and if they detect me cheating again or what ever it's as simple as banning me again instead of declining my request as they "would not be able to recognize if it was me on a vpn or the hacker at that point" even though the timeline of events clearly shows a different login location different email my account was changed to and an unknown authenticator app added. I tried to explain this situation to the team that works with bans, but they replied that they banned me for some kind of game enhancement. The problem is, they banned me while I was in the army, so I couldn’t even play at that time. After I got back, I couldn’t log in to my email because someone had hacked it — and my Apex account too. They probably sold it to someone, because there are tickets from 2024 that I obviously couldn’t have written, since I was in the army. Someone was trying to convince support to reset my account. 😭123Views0likes9CommentsMy APEX account was banned due to a conflict with legitimate backend software.
Dear EA: My Apex Legends account was banned on [July 9, 2025]. I was shocked and confused upon receiving the ban notification, as I have never used any cheat software. After careful consideration, I strongly suspect that the ban was due to a conflict between legitimate background software running on my computer and the anti-cheat system. I am a law-abiding player with over 4000 hours of playtime. My recent game data (consistent with normal player behavior, without the use of any cheats or damage boosting software) is available for review! I am deeply sorry that my Apex Legends account was banned for using the "Tomb Raider" cheat software. I have uploaded evidence of the "Tomb Raider" cheat software for your review! Therefore, I request that you conduct a comprehensive technical review of my account ban record, especially checking the logs for any false alarms triggered by the aforementioned legitimate software. I demand a fair response. 1. I submitted more than ten appeals, but all were rejected. EA also revoked my appeal rights, and my EA account can no longer submit appeals. In addition, I uploaded photos to prove why EA deprived me of my right to appeal. 2. Since creating my EA account on April 1, 2019, I have been addicted to this game, practicing my shooting skills day and night, and have never used any cheat software. I have invested over $10,000 and earned three "Hunter" badges with my friends. I never imagined I would be banned for this; I never believed in wrongful bans in games before, but Apex Legends has made me believe in their existence. Because I have to believe that this really happened to me. 3. I can no longer appeal, nor can I appeal through the EA Help Center. There is no record of bans in my ban history, but the game is still banned. I don't want to give up this game. I really don't understand what I did wrong. EA banned my account for no reason. My match history and kill/death ratio are normal. I have no choice but to post here for help, hoping someone can help me. I am truly desperate. I really don't understand why players who break the game rules are not banned promptly, while we green players can be inexplicably banned, and our appeals are rejected. So what about the items we purchased? I have been playing for so long and spent so much money, and in the end, I get mistakenly banned. If I had really used third-party software, then what is the point of me repeatedly submitting appeals? I hope EA officials can give me a response. This is my case number #22687089829Views0likes1Comment
