Accidental purchase with Apex Coins

I recently bought some Apex Coins saving up for a skin. Unfortunately I tried to equip a skin for a legend I didn't own yet and ended up buying the legend accidentally for 750 Apex Coins.

After browsing through the internet I had to learn that in game purchases are final and can't be refunded. That in mind it is a mystery for me how there is no second confirmation for purchases with premium currency. I'm expecting that I will get the same answer as other cases where nohting can be done about it. But I need to ask myself why I even spent money for such a small indie company who obviously doens't care about their community.
