I decided to play Apex after a long break, only to find that my account had been locked. I checked for any record of violations but found nothing, leading me to believe my account was compromised and used for cheating while I wasn't playing. I also checked match results on an external site and found a history of games played during a period when I wasn't active, so I am certain the account was hijacked.

If you found match history from a time when you weren’t even playing, I can understand why you’d believe the account may have been compromised.
Unfortunately, bans and appeals can’t be reviewed or handled here on the forums. If you believe your account was hacked and then used for cheating, the best next step would be to explain that as clearly as possible through the appeal/support process and include any details that help show the activity wasn’t yours.
