I tried everything I found on the net to play Apex...

If I install it on my hard drive I get the infinite loading screen but Easy Anti-cheat seems to works perfectly (+ it works perfectly with Fortnite).

If I install it on my SSD drive I get the error :

This client is not running anti-cheat, or has failed the anti-cheat authentication : authentication timed out ( 1/2 )

Any help on this error please ?

I tried to repair Apex legend, starting it with different compatibilities, as administrator, reinstalling it + origin, fixing the DHCP etc. Nothing worked.

I never linked up my Steam account to my Origin account.

I tried (and just tried again to verify it) with a different Origin account but I get the 2 same problems (it depends if the game is on my SSD or hard drive) (btw thanks a lot for all your answers)

Do you have any sort of lighting programs for your PC or other overlays/third party programs running in the background? It could be anti-virus related where it's blocking Origin/Apex from properly running. We'll need our Support team to take a deeper dive into this with you. Please reach out to an EA Advisor as soon as possible.

No I've closed/disabled all the overlay programs and I tried all the solutions with Avast+firewall disabled. To add, i've put Apex and Origin in the exclusion list of Avast.

Thanks again for your help but sadly my problem is not solved and they were not able to fix it... (I spoke with 2 advisors)

They sent me the link :

    https://help.ea.com/en-in/help/faq/connection-troubleshooting-basic/

I tried everything and sent them my UO traces but they were not able to tell me how to fix my problem.

The only thing that I found "strange" is that r5apex.exe doesn't work. If I want to play Apex, I have to go to the Origin library to launch it.
