apex brightness is dark after new update

Same & its frustrating the fk out of me

Having what I assume is the same issue since the mini update during the week (at least I think that’s when it started) all the games colours have turned very dark and some animations have a kind of blur and flicker, this can mainly be seen on player cards before a match. In game is very difficult to play as it’s harder to see enemies at range and in darker areas, my screen when downed is a very deep red making visibility very awkward. Needless to say I’ve had to stop playing for now, tried all tv settings etc, but all is normal and all other games are fine. I’m playing on Xbox Series X.

We're still looking into this and working to get it fixed. I don't have a time frame on when it might be resolved, but hopefully it will be fixed soon.

@EA_Kentim on the series and also it affects when looking at the inventory. Ive reinstalled multiple times and nothings changed.

Can you share a bit more info on what you're seeing? Do you mean the brightness is changing only when you're viewing the inventory?
