Apex Freezing Entire System Only In Ranked

I have ran into a new bug since the split started that fully freezes my pc until i turn it off and back on. This only occurs in apex and only in ranked. It's not a thermal issue, ive monitored it and its crashing around 60c. I run cyberpunk max RTX fine, cs2, marvel rivals, ow etc.. just fine. I only have PBO and DOCP enabled. no other overclocking or voltage stuff going on.

I have tried deleting temp files, checking file integrity, reinstalling, reinstalling video drivers, reinstalling windows, im kinda out of ideas.

Specs:
ASUS Strix X570-E-Gaming
AMD Ryzen 5800x3D
EVGA 3080 FTW3 12GB
32GB G.Skill Neo 3600 cl16

  • I tried a few things and finally fixed it. I am not sure which one was the actual culprit or if it was a mix of them. Firstly i disabled core integrity which i don't recommend people doing for security reasons. The next was I reseated my ram and cpu and re wired my pc to make sure everything was seated perfectly. Next I booted into safe mode, launched DDU, and uninstalled all nvidia drivers, and reinstalled new ones clean. I also repaired my operating system image.

regardless its working fine now and not freezing. I noticed in Latencymon both audio and video drivers were causing freezes. Those are the likely culprits but what i find interesting is apex is the only game that caused this issue. I could run every other game fine- cs2, cyberpunk, marvel rivals, overwatch 2, etc... Apex just didn't play well with something- though whatever that was, likely the drivers was corrupted or broken in some way.

  • Update: i ran prime95 torture test and it performed perfectly. I also did a health check on my ssd's and they're at 86% and 98% respectively so i doubt those are the problem. I got into the event viewer and exported the .yml files of the crashes and had chatgpt analyse them and it seems to be likely an issue of DPC latency. Hoping to get some error codes or figure out what could be causing this. will update once i run latency mon today. Really sad because i was enjoying streaming apex.

  • I was able to get the error code this time when it crashed. its reading out "apex game integrity error 0x8000001 apex exited due to a failure of game integrity"
