The patch released on September 29 fixed this issue for me, I can now again use 1000hz as polling rate. But unfortunately now my game suffers from the stuttering issue mentioned in this thread:

I can confirm that the patch released on September 29 fixed some of the menu stuttering, I can now again use 1000hz as polling rate.
Unfortunately I still have inGame stuttering...
