APEX Legends - can't join or invite to play, nor ad friends, Help please

Are you able to see your friend when he is online and he you?

I am also having this problem. I am playing on PC and as far as I can tell this started with the release of season 4. I've been playing APEX since the first week it launched and this is the first time I have experienced a problem accepting invites or requesting that people join my game. The only way I've had any success since this problem appeared is to send an invite via Origin rather than in game. This is OK if I want to play with someone who is already on my friend list, but not very useful when you want to temporarily team up with someone after a match.

Yeah!! Same problem since season 4, can't join invites from other players. Please help 

hi @EA_Darko , I'm playing on PC, and I only see the people I have added on Origin, and I cant accept or invite anyone else

There is currently a workaround but it involves adding someone as a friend and them accepting it. As of right now, that is the only way for invites to work. The invite last squad functionality seems to be completely broken.

There have been multiple posts and multiple bumps about this...Has yet to be addressed/fixed. Some people don't want to add friends through Origin

This is going to happen to one of us one day.

EA: For the time being, you can add friends through Origin and continue to play with those players

Legend: I don't want to add friends

EA: Well, it's the only way at the moment

Legend: Decides to add players to friends list and plays a few matches

3 days later

Legend: wtf, why am I banned?

EA: It appears you were squaded up with a cheater

Legend: But I wasn't cheating

EA: Unfortunately we see it as if you were cheating because he/she is on your friends list

Legend: What am I supposed to do now?

EA: For the time being, you should be careful as to who you add to you friends list

Legend: Then you should fix the invite option in game

EA: For the time being, you can add friends through Origin and continue to play with those players
