Sadly, it doesn't work. I've set it to "trilinear" which is the 2nd lowest setting and it my game still crashes with that error.
Another new thing I observed is, my screen goes black sometimes and the game itself becomes transparent. I can hear the movements and punches and shootings but I can't see, the game is fully transparent and alt-tabbing doesn't help at all.
I don't think it's my memory or GPU to be honest. I feel like it's more of that the game can't co-op with a driver of mine. I would roll back my drivers but I don't which or to what I can or should so a little bit of insight would be helpful!
That almost sounds like something is taking focus from the Apex Legends window. We were seeing an issue with the Origin client where it was taking focus away from other apps, which should be fixed in the Technical Preview client (previously called Beta).
For more info on how to enable the preview client follow the steps below:
- Launch Origin
- Click the Origin menu
- Click Application Settings
- Scroll down, and enable "Participate in Origin technical previews"
- Restart your client
Let me know if the same thing still happens afterward. Thanks!

Sorry for the late reply but I turned it on and have been playing for the past few days and it still crashes.
I've tried optimizing my laptop as well but it just simply crashes like every other time.
The only thing I can deduce from the error is that it's a problem with my resolution and I just don't know what could suddenly cause it to become a problem? - EA_Kent6 years ago

Thanks for following up! I'm sorry to hear it's still giving you trouble.
What happens if you start up your PC in a Clean Boot before you launch Apex Legends? If there's something else running on the PC that could be causing this error that might help to get around it.For more details on how to set one up check out the EA Help website. Let me know how that goes once you have a chance. Thanks again!
